Autumn poem

Autumn comes quickly to our school field.
The sun settles as moonlight shines down

onto the wet grass below.

The big oak tree

allows soggy moss to spread

around its old dusty branches.

  1. Hi lily your poem reminds me of the time I came to the school at night and played on the playground and slipped of the platform lucky I had heaps of layers on and it was raining on the grass and made it soggy. I like the way you said the big oak tree allows soggy moss to spread around it old soggy branches also i like the way you said the sun settles as moonlight shines down into the wet grass below.

  2. Wow I really enjoyed your writing it reminded me of when autumn comes and all I can see is brush strokes of orange, yellow and red everywhere I look. I also really liked how it said the sun settles as the moonlight shines down because it explains what happened when the sun went down. Overall I loved reading your peice of writing.
